- Complete the CPE Reporting.

Retain
Be included in The IIA Certification Registry.
All individuals who have earned an IIA certification and maintain it by reporting CPE are eligible to opt into The IIA Certification Registry. This up-to-date record provides an opportunity for employers and recruiters to verify your certification. Inclusion in the registry is voluntary.
If you do not report, your certification/qualification will expire, and as a result, you are no longer approved to represent yourself as a certified individual nor be listed in the registry.
Ethics CPE Opportunities
Two of your CPE credits must be earned in ethics. To help with this requirement, The IIA is offering three ethics courses (Ethical Behavior, Ethical Scenarios for Technology, and Ethical Scenarios for Financial Services Auditors), along with Ethics for Internal Auditors, Code of Ethics Conformance, and Assessing ethics for your organization. Participants can save on the OnDemand courses when purchased as part of The IIA’s Ethics Essentials course bundle.
What Else Counts as CPE?
You can give presentations, write exam questions, and more. Earn up to 25 CPE credits for writing/publishing a book and up to 15 CPE credits for research papers published by the Internal Audit Foundation. Learn more about the Foundation’s call for proposals.
